Two-factor authentication (2FA) is a security system that requires two distinct pieces of information in order to access something. The first is a password and the second is an authentication code.

I've forgotten my password, how do I reset it?
If you've forgotten your password, it's really simple to get back into your account. Click the Forgot your password link and enter your email address.
Within 5 minutes, we will email you a link to reset your password. If you do not receive it, we recommend checking your junk or spam folder.
I’m locked out of HF Connect, how can I regain access to my account?
After a limited number of failed attempts to sign in to HF Connect, you’ll be temporarily locked out. This is a safety measure taken in the event someone has tried to access your account without your permission. Once your account is locked, you will not be able to sign in.
To get access to your account, please contact our support team on HFconnectsupport@harneysfiduciary.com. They will unlock your account and send you a new link to reset your password.
What email address will my authentication code be sent to?
The authentication code will be sent to the email address used to login to the portal.
I no longer have access to Google Authenticator, how can I gain access to my account?
If you lose or change your phone or just no longer have access to Google Authenticator, it will not be possible to login to HF Connect. If this happens, please contact our support team on HFconnectsupport@harneysfiduciary.com. and let them know. They will remove the existing connection and send you a new link to your email address allowing you to setup a new connection. Please note, you will need to have the authenticator app on a new cell phone or tablet.
I want to change my email address, how do I do this?
It is not possible to change your email address. Instead, you will need a new account with the correct email address. To do this, ask your Super User to contact us with the details of the change and we will arrange for a new account to be created.
If you are the Super User, contact our support team on HFconnectsupport@harneysfiduciary.com.and let them know. They will work with you to set up your new account.
